I realize other people might not be as geographically challanged as I am, but before this whole PhD school thing, I honestly could not have told you which island Honolulu is on, or where, exactly, Hawai'i is in relation to the United States. West? And in the middle of the ocean? Yeah, that's about as far as I could get.
